Frich Consult is a Ghanaian Management Consulting and Events Management firm based in Accra. We consult and run training in the areas of Sales; Customer Service; Payment Card (Debit/Credit/Prepaid/Proprietary) Program Management; Public Speaking and Presentation Skills. We also offer General Management and Leadership Training; Business Advisory Services; CV/Résumé Writing; Job Interview Coaching Services; and Event Management Services.

Richard Forson is the Founder and the current CEO of Frich Consult. He took up the role in January 2016 following a successful resignation from Standard Chartered Bank in December 2015. Richard is an astute professional with over 11 years expertise in retail banking, payment card management, sales, customer service, relationship management, strategy, leadership, people management, cv writing, interview coaching, corporate training, marketing, presentation and public speaking.  


He is highly recognized for developing and successfully implementing a strategy (The Diamond Vision – ©2012) that initiated a radical transformation of Standard Chartered Bank Ghana’s Debit Card outlook from a Mass-Market one into a Premium one in accordance with the Bank’s strategy. 


Under his tenure as Merchants & Card Sales Manager, he led to team to chalk the following remarkable successes:


  • Three (3) international awards from Visa International and Standard Chartered Bank (Regional Level):
  • - Best Payment Value Market Growth – 2011 (Visa International Award)
  • - Best Domestic Card Spend Growth – 2010 (Visa International Award)
  • - “Go For Goal” Competition Group 4 Winners – 2010 (SCB Regional Level Award)


  • Exceeded full year revenues in three (3) consecutive years; 2011, 2012 and 2013
  • Successfully organised and administered an e-zwich card awareness creation and issuing exercise for Members of Parliament at the Parliament House in 2009


  • Successfully organised and administered an e-zwich card awareness creation and issuing exercise for Staff of the Office of The President at the Osu Castle (seat of government) in 2009


  • As the Bank’s e-zwich Coordinator from June 2008 to May 2015, he led them to maintain a leadership and trusted position in the industry and also achieved the following significant successes:
  • - Personally handled the set-up of all Standard Chartered Bank Branches across the country
  • - Led all GhIPSS and Standard Chartered organised outreach programmes across the country
  • - Led the team to issue over 40,000 cards within 2 years from 2008 & to 2010
  • - Organised and personally administered all e-zwich training for the Bank


  • Was the Bank’s accredited Debit Cards trainer and consultant from 2006 to 2015 and administered over 100 official training programmes for the Bank’s staff and staff of the Bank’s Point of Sale (Visa and E-zwich) Merchants
  • Played an integral role in the development and deployment of the Bank’s Visa Debit Cards i.e. Gold, Platinum and Infinite


  • Drafted several payment card (debit and e-zwich) usage and administration processes guides/flows for the Bank


  • Served on many payment card project committees and also played an integral role in the Bank’s re-carding exercise that successfully replaced the Bank’s Mag-stripes cards with EMV Cards
